MBS Automotive (Mercedes Benz Specialists) is located in Northbrook, Illinois. We are a dealership alternative offering complete Mercedes Benz service and repair. MBS delivers top quality, honest and personal service at an average savings of 50% vs. the dealerships and 25% vs. most independent shops. We are able to accomplish all this due to our unique low profile, specialized approach. Service is by appointment only.
Until now you had two options to service your Mercedes Benz. Either take it to the dealer and pay a high premium, or take your vehicle to a non specialized independent. The independent can offer you lower prices but doesn't know your vehicle. Often times they lack the specialized equipment, tooling and information to service your vehicle properly.
MBS and the dealers agree. You should have your vehicle serviced by a factory trained technician that is familiar with the many complex manufacturer specific systems in your vehicle. Models are changing every few years now and anybody who tells you they can keep up with all of them is lost. This is especially true when dealing with premium imports like Mercedes Benz.
MBS knows our customers own a variety of vehicle brands and we want to be able to help you with all your service needs. In most cases our customers ask us if we can service their other vehicles and the answer is yes. In fact, we can do high quality non-specialized service and repair on most vehicles. Brakes, tires, tune-ups, R&R and some diagnosis. If we can't perform the work to the same level as the dealer we will let you know and there is never a charge for inspection. As always we only use factory authorized parts and lubricants. Our prices are far below the dealers and most independent shops.

As the industry advances it will continue to put added pressure on non specialized independents. We have seen their labor rates climb due to the expense of trying to keep up with all the different manufacturers. If they don't have the proper equipment and training it can cost you time and money. Even something as simple as resetting your service reminder has become a problem for many shops.
At MBS we have gone one further... we recognize that most of our clients are working professionals. So our facility isn't geared towards large fancy waiting rooms and high dollar, visible locations. We operate out of a clean, secure, low profile facility and offer free local door to door service. We also offer a Mercedes Benz loaner vehicle when needed. This allows you to arrange vehicle service from your work or home without ever having to be bothered by waiting in a waiting room or taking time off work. That's what we call personal service.
